- Take Gram flour/roasted grams(grind it) 2 tbsp
- Prepare 1 tbsp Garlic paste
- Take 6 Eggs (hard boiled)
- Make ready Water to make hands wet
- Make ready Oil for frying
- Take Gravy
- Make ready 1 Onion large
- Get 1 Tomato large
- Take 5-6 Green chillies
- Take 3 tbsp Yogurt
- Prepare 1 tbsp Garlic paste
- Make ready 1 tbsp Ginger powder
- Make ready Salt as per taste
- Prepare 1 tsp Red chilli powder
- Make ready 1 tsp Crushed red chilli
- Make ready 1/2 tsp Turmeric powder
- Take 1 tsp Cumin seeds
- Prepare 1 tsp Coriander powder
- Prepare 1/2 tsp Paprika powder
- Get 1/2 tsp All spices (garam masalah)
- Take 1 cup Oil
- Get 1 glass Water
Nargisi Koftay are a healthy dish, but it has a delicious taste.. Slice each kofta length wise and spread on a serving dish. Top with gravy and garnish with chopped coriander leaves and dry fenugreek leaves. How to Make Nargisi Koftay Recipe Add garlic, ginger, salt, onions, red chili powder, green chili, green coriander, gram flour and bread slices to minced meat and grind finely twice.
Steps to make Nargasi Koftey (meatballs):
- To make koftey, measure the above mentioned ingredients accurately and put them into a chopper. Chop them well to get homogeneous mixture. Boil the eggs hard and peel them off. Take about 1/2 cup of mince mixture or double the size of egg and make a flate sheet (about 1/2 inch thick)of it by wetting your hands. Wrap the whole egg with this mixture sheet firmly as shown in the picture.
- Similarly wrap all the eggs with mince mixture to get big meatballs. Heat the oil and fry these meatballs carefully at low to medium flame to get nice golden brown colour. Drain the excessive oil. Keep them aside.
- Make a fine and smooth paste of onion. Make another puree of tomato, green chillies and yogurt as shown in the picture.
- In a pot heat the oil and add onion paste. Let it to be golden in colour. On turning to golden add garlic paste and saute until gets browned. Add another puree (tomato+yogurt+green chilli) and cook it for 2 minutes. Finally add all other spices except all spices (garam masala).
- Mix all the spices well and let it to cook until oil separates. Add one glass water and cook for 2 minutes. Now add meatballs (Koftey) in it, cover with the lid and simmer for 5 minutes. Change the side of meatballs and give another 5 minutes to cook and these are done. Cut the meatballs out as you like, vertically or horizontally. Sprinkle some all spices and garnish with fresh coriander.
Top with gravy and garnish with chopped coriander leaves and dry fenugreek leaves.
